Treasure Island by Robert Louis Stevenson

"Robert Louis Stevenson's ‘Treasure Island’ is an eye-catching fantasy about pirates. It is a timeless story written in 1883.

The main character is a young boy called Jim Hawkins. When a stranger turns up at his home the drunken death of this man leads him into a series of pirate-filled adventures. He sets sail with a friend, servants and a crew of ex-pirates to the mysterious Treasure Island!!"

I couldn't put the book down and despite its age it has a fresh feel with a gripping story. This is a book for people with a sea yearning flare and is mindbogglingly good.
