The Boy Who Made Everyone Laugh

The Boy Who Made Everyone

BY: Helen Rutter

The Last Bear is a fiction book written by Hannah Gold and illustrated by Levi Pinfold. This book is about a girl named April and her dad who go to Bear island for her dad’s work. It was thought that there were no polar bears left on Bear Island but one night April spots a polar bear. Throughout the book, April befriends the polar bear and they go on all sorts of adventures together.

The characters are; April, April’s dad, Bear, Tӧr and Tӧr’s dad. It is set on an island called Bear Island. My favourite part of the book was when April was on the fishing boat trying to get Bear home because it was exciting and even a little bit scary. I would recommend this book to anyone who likes adventure books.
